Asia Property Awards
The Asia Property Awards offer a showcase of Asia’s real estate industry, boosting awareness and highlighting top quality developers, projects and services. The awards shine a spotlight on the high calibre work within the Asian real estate industry. With professionally run and a fully audited judging system, they bring Asia’s real estate industry to the world stage.
To enter the awards, a company or development must comply with the relevant eligibility criteria in order to be nominated. The company or development must be nominated by a third party and cannot nominate itself or be nominated by an employee. It is worth noting that the awards do not charge an entry fee.
In 2015, the awards are divided into two strands: (i) the South East Asia Property Awards, and (ii) the China Property Awards.
South East Asia Property Awards (Malaysia)
The South East Asia Property Awards (Malaysia) (“SEAPA Malaysia”) showcases various awards under several main categories, including awards for developers, designs and developments. After months of meticulously reviewing entries and conducting site visits for long-listed properties, the official shortlist of entries for the second annual SEAPA Malaysia has been determined.
Vying for “Best Developer”, which is the year’s top honour, are Dynasty View Sdn Bhd (wholly-owned subsidiary of UM Land Bhd), Mah Sing Group Bhd, Sime Darby Property Sdn Bhd, and S P Setia Bhd and subsidiaries, all of which have previously bagged other national and regional awards.
The distinguished judges of SEAPA Malaysia 2015 are David Aboud, director and Guidance Investments; Foo Gen Jen, managing director at C H Williams Talhar & Wong; Khalil Adis, founder of Khalil Adis Consultancy Pte Ltd; Karen Tan, founder and managing director of Pocket Projects; YBhg Dato’ George Steward LaBrooy, chief executive offer/ executive director of AXIS REIT Managers Bhd; Previndran Singhe, chief executive officer of Zerin Properties; Vignan Hunt; Dato’ Ken Yeang, principal at T.R. Hamzah & Yeang Sdn Bhd (Malaysia) and YY Lau, country head/ managing director of JLL Property Services (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. SEAPA Malaysia is supervised by BDO International, the world’s fifth largest network of accounting, tax and advisory firms.
The Gala Dinner and awards presentation ceremony for SEAPA Malaysia will be held at The JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur on 26 August 2015. Winners of these awards, along with winners from the awards within each country, will compete for the South East Asia Property Awards; its Gala Dinner and awards presentation ceremony is scheduled to be held at The Shangri La Hotel in Singapore on 21 October 2015.
Winners and ‘Highly Commended’ companies and developments of the Asia Property Awards are recognised throughout Asia and the world for the exceptionally high standards they have achieved. In addition, Property Report’s editorial team will craft a press release on the award winners, which will then be sent to major search engines and over 30,000 journalists and bloggers, thereby providing winners with additional visibility and an edge over competitors.
